Here at The Luminous Alchemist, premade kits are my signature offer. Every kit comes with a complete brand identity and matching website template ready to grow with your business. Below, you will find details about kit contents, process and requirements, as well as additional service options offered.

What’s not included
Below, you’ll find a list of what is not included in the original price of the premade kit. Some can be added during the checkout process or requested later on, while some (like copywriting) are things you’ll need to do on your own.

Font files are not included, however many of them can be downloaded for free from Google Fonts or purchased for a reasonable price ($25-$50 per font usually). If a premade kit happens to use a purchased font, it will be stated clearly within the details of that specific kit. Font links for download and/or purchase will be included and sent upon purchasing the kit. Website templates will always be font ready, no files to worry about there. You will only need to worry about getting font files if you plan to use Canva for something like social media designs.

Full copywriting is not included in any of my services, meaning that you will be in charge of writing your own website copy. However, all kits come with a Copywriting & Structure Guide. The guide contains instructions, prompts, and tips for each main section within each page of the website, designed to help you get the basics of your copy down. Additionally, the website template itself comes with some light copywriting examples written specifically with the brand and business niche in mind. You are free to use these copywriting examples, but of course I recommend adjusting or removing any that don’t fit you and your business.

Domain names are not provided with any kit. You will need a domain name for your website if you plan to take the site live (public). It is my recommendation that you buy your domain through Squarespace before purchasing a kit. If you already have a domain name, I recommend you first get it transferred into Squarespace (you will need to create a Squarespace account for this). If you wait to buy your website domain name, keep in mind that you may need to have your logo suite revised if the domain name you planned on buying is unavailable.

Your Squarespace account and subscription are not included. A Squarespace account (free) will be necessary in order to transfer the website template to you and also for you to purchase or transfer your domain name. A Squarespace subscription will also be necessary for when you intend to take your website live (public).

Additional pages within your website are not included in the initial kit price, but I am happy to add any extra pages for you at an extra charge per page (please see my additional services for details).

Any changes, aside from the text within the logo suite during the customization process, are not included. If you wish to have other changes made to the designs or for any new products to be created (business cards, flyers, postcards, bookmarks, etc.), they can be requested and if agreed, billed at my hourly rate. Feel free to reach out with any questions about this topic. If you’ve found a kit you like, but parts of the design don’t exactly fit with your business then let’s see if we can adjust them for you!
Premade Kit Process
Receive a kit in four steps
If you’ve decided that you want a premade kit, there are four steps to go through. Here’s a big picture overview of what happens:
The first step is selecting and purchasing the kit you want. In the second step, you’ll receive an initial version of the logo suite customized with your information. During the third step, we’ll work together to make text-based revisions and when you are happy with your new logo suite, the fourth step is for the final file delivery and website template transfer.
Below, you’ll find the steps outlined in more detail for the standard two-week process.
Premade Kit Requirements
What You’ll Need
The two most important things you’ll need are a Squarespace account and a domain name. (These are both specifically for the website template.)
Squarespace Account
You will need a Squarespace account (free) in order to receive your website template. You won’t be charged unless you decide to purchase a Squarespace subscription. A subscription will be necessary to take your website live (public) and allow for audience engagement, analytics tracking, email marketing, etc.
There are four tiers of subscription to choose from, but most solopreneurs will only need either the basic or core plan. These range from $16-$25 (basic) and $23-$36 (core) per month depending on whether you set up annual or monthly payments.
Domain Name
You will need a domain name in order to take your website live (public). I recommend purchasing your domain name through Squarespace after setting up an account (more convenient this way). If you already own your domain name, you will need to transfer it to your Squarespace account before it can be used. Domain names are usually around $20-50 annually, but prices can vary depending on the name and whether you choose .com or .net or .gov, etc.

Design Preview
PRICE: $50 (non-refundable)
Wondering how your business name or tagline would look in a kit? A preview gives you a chance to see your information within the logo suite before making a decision. Revisions are not included but will be available if the kit is purchased. Typically takes 3-5 days business days.
(The fee for this service will be applied to the total kit price upon purchase.) -

Website Page
PRICE: $50 (per extra page)
Need extra pages or a specific page for your business? Expand your website template beyond the initial page amount with a portfolio, gallery, blog, shop, donate, specific service, education, facility, team, or almost any other page you may need. Styled to match existing pages, with major sections added, and your copywriting for the new page also added (if you have it ready, if not add it in later when you’re ready).
(Adds 2-3 business days.) -

Extra Revision
PRICE: $50 (per extra round)
Want an extra revision for your logo suite? Premade kits come with two rounds of text-based revisions to start but sometimes changes come up. This service option gives you another round of text-based revisions and can be requested through the button below. Any non-text design adjustments will need to be discussed and charged at an hourly rate.

Hourly Rate
PRICE: $30 (per hour)
Interested in a premade kit but not keen on setting up the website yourself? I am happy to add in copy that you write and/or give guided walkthroughs and lessons for using your new site over a screen share video call. Depending on the request, I may also be willing to make minor design changes to iconography or the color palette of a kit so don’t hesitate to ask!
Terms to consider
Payments are made via online invoice (sent by email) or online during the checkout process.
Once purchased, your premade kit will be removed from the Shop.
All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges.
