A Premade Kit Overview
Here at The Luminous Alchemist, premade kits are my signature offer. Premade kits include a logo suite that is semi-customizable and ready in two weeks or less. Every kit comes with a complete brand identity and matching website template ready to grow with your business. Below, you will find details about kit contents, process and requirements, as well as additional service options available for both brand and website needs.

What’s included in a premade kit?

Brand Guidelines Document
An overview of the premade kit’s brand identity and each asset, including use guidance when necessary. This is essentially an at-a-glance reference for the brand, delivered in .pdf file format.

Logo Suite & Customization
Primary, secondary, wordmark, & submark logos. Customization includes updating the entire logo suite with your information to include your business name, title, established date, and tagline.

Color Palette & Typography
A color palette consisting of 9+ colors total, to include HEX codes and gradient backgrounds. A font pairing consisting of three font styles to be used as heading, paragraph, and accent fonts.

Iconography & Imagery
Custom made to match the brand. Each kit includes icons, graphics, patterns, and background images. Set sizes vary within kits, but tend to contain 3-5 icons, 2-3 graphics, 1-2 patterns, and 6-10 images.

Ready to customize and launch.
This is a template site that includes a home, about, services, and contact page pre-set with layout, brand assets, and light copy.

What’s Not Included
There are a few things that aren’t included when purchasing a premade kit. Some services are not available for the listed premade kit price but are available as an additional service option during the checkout process or upon request.
Please check the list below.-
Font files are not included, however many of them can be downloaded for free from Google Fonts or purchased for a reasonable price ($25-$50 per font usually). If a premade kit happens to use a purchased font, it will be stated clearly within the details of that specific kit. Font links for download and/or purchase will be included and sent upon purchasing the kit.

Full copywriting is not included in any of my services, meaning that you will be in charge of writing your own website copy. However, all kits come with a Copywriting & Structure Guide. The guide contains instructions, prompts, and tips for each main section within each page of the website, designed to help you write your copy with ease. Additionally, the website template itself comes with some light copywriting examples written specifically with the brand and business niche in mind. You are free to use these copywriting examples, but I recommend changing or personalizing any that don’t fit you and your business.

Domain names are not provided with any kit. You will need a domain name for your website if you plan to take the site live (public). It is my recommendation that you buy your domain, preferably through Squarespace, before purchasing a kit. If you already have a domain name, I recommend you first get it transferred into Squarespace (you will need to create a Squarespace account for this). If you wait to buy your website domain name, keep in mind that you may need to have your logo suite revised again. This will depend on the availability of the domain name that you want for your business.

Additional pages within your website are not included. If there are other pages you need for your business, I offer an Additional Website Page service option, available during the checkout process or upon request.

There are no printing services included within any of my offers here at The Luminous Alchemist. Any designs that you choose to have printed will be up to you and at your own expense.

Uploading any personal portrait photos or photos related to your services and business to your website is not included within the kit price but please reach out if this is a concern of yours. I also offer design services at an hourly rate.

A Canva Pro Subscription is not included with any kit purchase. It is also not necessary for you to have Canva or the pro subscription for purchasing a premade kit as all of the brand assets will be sent to you directly via email.

Your Squarespace account and subscription is not included. A Squarespace account will be necessary in order to transfer the website template to you and also for you to purchase or transfer your domain name. A Squarespace subscription will also be necessary to take your website live (public).

Any other changes, aside from the wording of the logo suite during Logo Customization, are not included. If you wish to have other design changes made, they can be requested and billed, if approved, at my hourly rate. However, I am unlikely to consider most design changes for premade kits at this point due to my creation process. Many of the pieces within each brand identity are interwoven together. Changing one may lead to a lack of cohesiveness throughout the kit as a whole.

Extra Logo Suite Revision
PRICE: $75 (per extra round)
Premade kits come with two rounds of revisions already but sometimes changes further changes are needed. This add-on service gives you another round of revisions for the logo suite and can be requested through the button below. (This service will extend the time by 2-3 days.)

Additional Website Page
PRICE: $75 (per extra page)
Expand your website template beyond the original amount with a portfolio, gallery, blog, shop, donate, specific service, education, facility, team, or any other page you may need. Styled to match existing pages, with major sections added, and with light copywriting examples. (This service will extend the time by 2-3 days.)

Logo Suite Preview
PRICE: $75 (non-refundable)
Wondering how your business name or tagline would look with one of the kits? With this service, you can have a logo suite customized with your information before making a decision. Revisions are not included but will be available if the kit is purchased. Typically takes 3-5 days business days. (The fee for this service will be applied to the total kit price upon premade kit purchase.)

Hourly Rate
PRICE: $30 (per hour)
I am available at an hourly rate for some out-of-scope design requests as well as most website support and assistance that falls outside of my listed services.
The Premade Kit Process

Selection
Select and purchase a premade kit from the shop by going through the checkout process. You will receive immediate access to the Brand Guidelines Document and the Copywriting & Structure Guide for the kit you have chosen.

Customization
Once you have purchased the kit, you will need to fill out the questionnaire with your information so that I can customize your logo suite. If you would like to go over details on a call, that’s no problem, just let me know.

Revision
Receive your customized logos with the information that you gave in the questionnaire. Two rounds of revisions are available after that for any text adjustments. Extra revisions and/or website page additions will extend the initial two-week timeframe.

Delivery
After the final revision, your customized logos will be sent to you via email. The logos will also be pre-loaded into your website template. The entire site will then be transferred into your Squarespace account.
Requirements
A couple of things you’ll need to have for the website template in your premade kit.Squarespace Account
You will need a Squarespace account in order to receive and use your website template. Setting up your account is free, and payments won’t start until you decide to purchase a Squarespace subscription. A subscription will be necessary to take your website live (public) and allow for audience engagement, analytics, email marketing, etc.
Terms & Notes
Payments are made via online invoice (sent by email) or online during the checkout process.
Once purchased, your premade kit will be removed from the Shop.
All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges.

Domain Name
You will need a domain name in order to take your website from trial period to live (public) site. I recommend purchasing your domain name through Squarespace after setting up an account, as it is the easiest way. If you already own your domain name, you will need to transfer it to your Squarespace account. Domain names are usually under $25-50 annually, but prices can vary.

Only the text within the logo suite can be customized. Your business name, title, established date, and tagline will be integrated into the designs. Layouts may be slightly adjusted to accommodate for name/word length.

Yes! While each premade kit does include two revisions, you are also able to purchase an Extra Logo Suite Revision although this will extend the initial timeframe.

You will receive immediate access to the Brand Guidelines Document and the Copywriting & Structure Guide in .pdf file format. Once revisions have been completed on your logo suite and/or additional website pages created, you will receive the logo suite and iconography set in .png and .svg file formats via email.

Not at all, Squarespace is very intuitive and requires zero coding although the ability to use custom coding does exist within each website.
